Was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Bath County  and have lived in Salem, Virginia for over 40 years.  Married and we had one beautiful daughter who is now home in heaven and is missed so much. I have an awesome grandson, Scott, who graduated from Ferrum and now holds a great job at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He and Amanda presented us with a beautiful great granddaughter in March 2017. I was a store manager with Mick - or - Mack Food Stores where I worked for almost 20 years. I have been a full time real estate agent for 30 years and have just been appointed by Salem City Council to the Fair Housing Board for a 3 year term. I am one of the original founders of the Community Christmas Store which we started in 1993. In 2005 I was chosen for RVAR's first Realtor Community Service Award. I love working with buyers and sellers. I am an avid deer and spring gobbler hunter, having learned from a great teacher, my dad. Other hobbies include gardening, reading, spending a warm sunny day on the bank of the Bull Pasture River fishing and enjoying a good old fashioned estate auction somewhere out in the country.
